Visiting the furniture fair in Singapore with much anticipation I could not help but be astonished by the very few visitors that were around... maybe one of the reasons that Maison & Objet had cancelled their presence for this year?
In return the relatively empty hallways made for a very nice and relaxed stroll through the different halls... - a completely different energy than you would know from European fairs :-)
That said there several inspirational highlights - two key ones for sure being the panel discussion on Friday as well as the gathering of, for and with the EUBA exhibitors - with the chance of getting to know a bunch of fun, inspirational and highly motivated entrepreneurs exhibiting at the show - thanks to IFFS and the EU :-)
Particularly the conference that Christopher Guy gave amongst others on his vision and his new platform for the furniture industry for sure seeded a lot of interesting thoughts in the audience's heads :-)
